101st Airborne Division (3/187th "Rakkasans") Vietnam Reenactment
We are a reenactment / living history group from Germany that deals with the conflict in Vietnam. Our goal is to represent the Screaming Eagles, more specifically the 187th Rakkasans (in the 1969 Operation Apache Snow), as well as other units. Among them Special Forces, SEALs, ANZAC, US NAVY, MACV SOG and also Vietcong.
As reenactors and collectors, we are concerned with telling the story and the fates of the people of that time. Through visual representation, we make history come alive. What distinguishes us from airsoft players is the scientific and thorough research, down to the smallest detail, as well as a lively exchange with veterans. We are not concerned with the playful handling of war and the suffering associated with it. For us, the historical enlightenment and the representation is in the first place. The claim of authenticity of our equipment, uniforms and our vehicles has top priority.
